I heard from Sophie & Thibault today with another update on Kiba (formerly “Barry”) from Montréal, Quebec…
“Hi Dena! How are you doing? Kiba and us are doing well! Of course he is getting comfortable and he’s letting us know his opinions. We started training class and he’s being a champ. Our bond is building up but we are making a lot of training to build his trust. Of course the puppy biting are still a point to work on, patience is the key. We discovered he LOVES ice cubes, perfect to soothe his teeth. He’s also getting socialize with a lot of humans and other dogs.”
So happy to hear that they are doing well together, continuing to train and socialize with other dogs & people. And doesn’t he look FABULOUS with his perky ears?! It’s not surprising that he is sharing his ACD opinions… I swear that trait should officially be in the breed standard!! Kiba is definitely living his best life in his new family!
